Who We Are
Barry Wade established a workshop at Wade Furniture's present location in rural West Wales, 30 years ago.
Since that date we have built a countrywide reputation for high quality design and the manufacture of cabinetwork with a traditionally solid character that fits easily into a modern setting.
Wade Furniture is now a partnership between two very skilled and experienced designer/cabinetmakers .
Barry Wade does all design work in close consultation with each client in order to create ideas that will reflect the requirements of the customer and be in harmony with the style of the property.
Norman Lincoln runs the workshop , translating exacting design specifications into beautifully constructed and finished pieces to be made by himself and our small team of dedicated craftsmen.
Barry supervises all the delivery and fitting , which is done by our own workforce , so that we can be sure that each contract is fulfilled with that personal touch and to our high standards from design to completion.
We use only top quality materials.
All timber is carefully selected and comes from sustainable sources.
We have remained small for two reasons.
First, so that we can continue to operate from our rural setting - as we very much like being here. Secondly to ensure that we retain continuity, because we love turning out a really good job!
We serve all of southern Britain. Recent projects have been completed in Surrey, Pembrokeshire, London, West Glamorgan, Berkshire, Carmarthenshire and Birmingham.
My wife Ann Pettitt and her business partner Monica Pittendreigh, run a tile making workshop from our premises called Chantecler Tiles. They make handmade hand glazed wall tiles that can be bought with our kitchens or separately. You may visit their website
